Grand Finale for Survival Systems
Last week as we finished our exploration of how plants work, students created their own. They conceived of a particular habitat, listed its characteristics, and then designed a plant with attributes well-suited to that environment. The crew really enjoyed this learning experience.This week we wrapped up the entire Systems expedition, with students researching and sharing information on one of a variety of topics related to body systems, plant systems, or the interconnections between Earth and life. Interesting, the majority chose a topic related to fast food or other dietary health issues.
